About Storm force Sport Fishing
The Storm Force is professionally mechanically maintained and cleaned state of the art 36’ tiara sportfishing vessel. With over 800 horsepower we are able to run to where the fish are and get there quickly without being limited to fishing within a few miles of the harbor.
The Storm Force is fully rigged with:
Crusader fuel injected engines
Fully loaded with Garmin radar, GPS, and fish finders
Computer controlled autopilot
Cellphone
Professionally cleaned and maintained restroom
All USCG approved safety equipment
All of the tackle we use is state of the art best of the best. We use all Shimano, Okuma, and ugly stick rods paired with Shimano, Penn, and Okuma reels. We have a tackle selection the size of most tackle shops to always make sure we always have what the fish want.
May - June
Salmon mainly- In May and the first part of June you can see limits of coho salmon. This is the time of year I recommend if you want to see a lot of fast action. This is the time to see a higher percentage of salmon per outing.
July - August
A mixed bag of bigger fish: This is when the arm-wrenching drag screaming kings, and lake trout along with some steelhead start to show up. The kings can vary anywhere from 5 pounds to the upper 30-pound range. Lake trout can vary from 5-upper 30-pound range also. The steelhead is what we call the acrobats of the lake they are jumpers. It isn’t uncommon for steelhead to jump 3-4 feet out of the water while you are fighting it, it is definitely a sight to see. The steelhead range from 5-mid 20-pound range.
September - October
Huge lake trout begin to spawn on the reefs in this time frame, plus some Brown trout, steelhead, and medium kings move in from the deeper water. This will be the last couple of months of the season, which means the last chance to get the freezers full for winter.
